With over 20 years of international machinery sales experience, North East Plant UK wanted to improve the online aspect of their digital marketing. With high value machinery, e-commerce wasn't a perfect solution here, high transaction fees and long lead times called for a different solution. Instead, a custom built CMS, acting as if it were e-commerce was designed, with client logins so their marketing team could upload new, edit existing and remove sold machinery.
In addition to this, automated sequences were developed to help market their machines. Short signup forms were integrated, delivering data to Mailchimp. Subsequently Mailchimp then generates an email at the start of each week, pulling all the new machinery added to the website, and sending this to the subscribers audience - all automatically.
